What is collected
When you place an order, the order form collects your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and the details of what you ordered. When you use the contact form, your name, email, and message are collected. When you submit a review, your name (or initial), optional role/department, rating, and review text are collected. The order-status and certificate lookup tools only read the order or passport number you type in — they don't collect anything new.
No payment information is ever collected or stored through this website. Payment is arranged directly with you when your order is complete.
Why it's collected
Order details are used for one purpose: to make and ship your piece, and to keep you updated on its status. Contact form messages are used to reply to you. Reviews, once approved, are displayed publicly on the Reviews page exactly as you submitted them — which is why the form suggests using your first name or first name plus an initial.
Where it lives
Order, contact, and review submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet and delivered by email through Google's services. That means your information is processed on Google's infrastructure, which may include servers located outside Canada. It is not shared with, sold to, or rented to anyone, and it is never used for advertising.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand things like which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects anonymized usage data; it does not receive anything you type into the order, contact, or review forms. If you prefer not to be counted, browser extensions and built-in tracking protection (such as Firefox's or Brave's) will block it without affecting the site.
How long it's kept
Order records are kept as long as needed for warranty, repairs, and the Digital Product Passport tied to your piece. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
